Manchester United vs Tottenham Player Ratings

This Manchester United vs Tottenham clash lived up to the Premier League hype. From the off, both sides knew what was at stake, two big clubs pushing for every point.
Manchester United struck first in the 32nd minute when Bryan Mbeumo nodded in from Amad Diallo’s clipped ball after Tottenham’s defence failed to clear calmly. United looked comfortable at the break, controlling possession and keeping Spurs from turning up real heat.
But Tottenham refused to slump. In the 84th minute Mathys Tel sparked hope, his finish deflected and eluded the keeper to level the score.
But the drama didn’t end there. Deep into stoppage time, Spurs thought they’d taken it when Richarlison glanced in a header just after the 90 +1 mark.
Then right at the death, deep into added time, Matthijs de Ligt rose to head United into a dramatic 2-2 draw, snatching a point Spurs thought was done on them.
For big teams fighting for the league, this kind of wild finish shows how fine margins are. Tottenham will feel they had the win in hand but blew it at the death. United will take the point but know they nearly let away three. Both sides leave with something, but perhaps a little less than they wanted.
Guglielmo Vicario – 6.0
Didn’t have his best evening. Conceded twice and didn’t make any standout saves to redeem himself. His distribution was shaky too, with only 62% accuracy. Looked uncomfortable when pressed and could’ve done better commanding his box.
Pedro Porro – 6.6
Worked hard down the right but had problems containing United’s quick breaks. His passing was off, losing possession often, and his end product wasn’t sharp. Did manage a few key clearances but not his most disciplined display.
Cristian Romero – 6.7
One of the few steady heads in the back line. Won most of his duels and looked sharp in tackles, though he was part of the defence that switched off late.
Micky van de Ven – 6.5
Did his job quietly for most parts but got pulled out of shape late in the game. Showed good ball control and positioning but lacked aggression in aerial duels.
Djed Spence – 6.4
Full of energy but sometimes reckless. Gave away possession cheaply and struggled to stop crosses from his flank. However, his work rate going forward can’t be faulted.
João Palhinha – 7.0
A solid shift in midfield. Broke up play well and never shied away from tackles. Kept the tempo ticking and showed a good composure under pressure. Easily one of Spurs’ better performers.
Pape Matar Sarr – 6.6
Neat and tidy in possession but faded in impact. Tried a few long passes that didn’t connect and missed a big chance to make a difference going forward.
Brennan Johnson – 6.7
A busy figure on the wing, always looking to run at defenders. Created a few half-chances but lacked the final pass. Still, his intensity helped keep United’s defence alert.
Xavi Simons – 6.7
Looked confident early on, moving the ball smartly and keeping things tidy. Tried linking up play but sometimes drifted out of the game.
Richarlison – 6.8
Scored late to lift the crowd and looked dangerous inside the box. Still missed a couple of good chances and was often caught offside, but his fightback energy mattered.
Randal Kolo Muani – 6.4
Didn’t make enough impact before being subbed off.
Kevin Danso – 6.2: Little time to influence.
Mathys Tel – 7.4: Game changer. Scored the equalizer and lifted Spurs when they needed spark.
Destiny Udogie – 6.7: Calm cameo with a crucial assist.
Wilson Odobert – 7.8: Outstanding off the bench. Two big chances created, perfect passing, and a vital assist, pure impact.
Rodrigo Bentancur – 6.5: Controlled his area well in closing minutes, tidy but not flashy.
Senne Lammens – 6.4
Made two important saves but conceded twice, including Spurs’ late equalizer. Distribution was sloppy (57% pass accuracy), and he looked nervous when pressed. Could have done better organizing his defence.
Matthijs de Ligt – 7.2
Scored the dramatic 96th-minute equalizer to rescue a point. Strong in duels and clearances, read the game well, and stayed composed under pressure. One of the standout performers for United.
Harry Maguire – 6.6
Steady. Very tidy with 96% passing and few defensive errors. Didn’t have many challenging moments but kept his shape and helped maintain some stability at the back.
Luke Shaw – 6.5
Average solid defense, making a few tackles and interceptions, but was caught out a couple of times by Spurs’ pace. Tried to contribute going forward but lacked final delivery.
Noussair Mazraoui – 6.7
Won most of his duels, covered his flank well, and broke up Tottenham’s play efficiently. Passed well and was reliable, though not very threatening in attack.
Casemiro – 6.5
Controlled his midfield area defensively but struggled to impact attacking phases. Made some key tackles but gave away possession a few times.
Bruno Fernandes – 7.2
Delivered the crucial assist for the late equalizer, linked play well, and helped United control parts of the midfield. Missed a few chances, but overall creative and influential.
Patrick Dorgu – 6.7
Strong in duels and defensive work, but struggled with passing accuracy (55%) and lost possession several times. Gave energy and effort but didn’t consistently influence the game.
Amad Diallo – 7.3
Created United’s first goal, provided smart runs behind the Spurs defence, and generally caused problems with his pace and dribbling. A constant threat.
Bryan Mbeumo – 7.0
Scored United’s opening goal with a composed finish. Active in attack and pressing, but lost several duels and was caught offside a couple of times.
Matheus Cunha – 6.4
Rarely involved, missed a few chances, and struggled to get into dangerous positions. Limited impact.
José Dalot – 6.1: Minimal influence.
Mason Mount – 6.6: Some creativity but didn’t significantly affect the game.
Leny Yoro – 6.1: Short cameo, tidy but forgettable.
Manuel Ugarte – 6.7: Accurate passing (100%) and tidy in possession during his brief time.
Benjamin Šeško – 6.1: Barely touched the ball, little impact.
